Recognise diseases and pests from photos

A close-up photo of leaves, fruit or insects, from the phone or the drone's zoom: the crop's model suggests the diagnosis with its probability.

Observations with the suggested diagnosis

The agronomist is not always in the field. AI observations help put a name to what you see: you choose the crop, upload the photo and the model trained on that crop suggests the most likely causes. The suggestion stays a suggestion until a person confirms it; every observation goes on the map with its date.

Shoot, upload, confirm

Each «What to look for» item explains how to shoot: distance, framing, any distance measurement. The result shows the most likely diagnoses with their percentage and, next to them, the model's measured accuracy. The agronomist confirms, corrects or discards.

  • Crop-specific models
  • Always confirmed by the agronomist
  • Every observation on the map

Crops

Italian crops, one by one

Plus insects and pests, rice paddy weeds and the brown marmorated stink bug counted in canopies from drone photos.

  • Over 30 crops
  • Shooting instructions for each model
  • Accuracy stated alongside

How to use it

  1. 1

    Choose what to look for

    Crop and type of problem.

  2. 2

    Take the photo

Close up and in focus, as the sheet says.

  3. 3

    Read the suggestion

The most likely diagnoses with their percentage.

  4. 4

    Confirm

    The agronomist confirms or corrects.

Specifications

Models
One per crop, plus insects and pests and rice paddy weeds.
Photos
From the phone or the drone's zoom; some models need the distance.
Processing
On servers in Europe.
Risk from weather
Grapevine, apple, potato and tomato also from weather models.

AI models suggest, they do not decide: diagnosis and choice of treatment are up to the agronomist. Accuracy is measured on archive photos and may be lower in the field.
